"A Copo" campaign was developed by ViniPortugal with the aim of promoting the consumption of good wine by the glass at national level, as a way of promoting Portuguese wines and increasing knowledge about the quality and diversities of wines produced in Portugal.

A good service of wine by the glass depends on who provides it... but also on the demand of the consumer
The right choice of glasses
The glasses to be used for the wine-by-glass service follow the same parameters as the wine-by-the-bottle service.
The right amount
The amount to be served for each glass will ideally be 1/5 of the 750 ml bottle, with each serving containing 150 ml.
Identify a good restaurant by the glass
ViniPortugal carries out a monthly assessment of the wine-by-glass service in Portuguese restaurants, enotecas, bars and wine bars.
The right temperature
Depending on the style and age of each wine, the correct temperature has to be set.
Learn how to store wine
Currently, there are several mechanisms and devices that allow the correct conservation of an open bottle of wine, preventing constant contact with oxygen and, thus, the oxidation of the wine.
