Activities for Education

Intervention in the national market is essentially carried out in two ways: Professional Training and Education of Tourists who visit us.

ViniPortugal has developed a vast training program under the umbrella of Academia Vinhos de Portugal, aimed at formation in wines for both catering professionals and sales advisors for large distribution

International level

The intervention is being increasingly oriented towards the training of professionals and consumer education, based on the Training and Education Program of the Academia Vinhos de Portugal and in partnership with third parties such as Escolas de Vinhos or Associações de Sommeliers.

In the two Lisbon and Porto Tasting Rooms where the visitor, essentially a foreigner, experiences Portuguese wines and is able to do so in free Tasting or using thematic tastings in which a specialist presents the wines, and regions of provenance.

At the international level, intervention is being increasingly oriented towards the training of professionals and consumer education, based on the Training and Education Program of the Vinhos de Portugal Academy, and this training can be applied directly by ViniPortugal staff or by trainers from the third-party entities such as Wine Schools with whom partnership agreements are signed.
